About Swap

Travel that runs on people, not price tags.

Swap started with a simple idea: the best way to see a place is alongside someone who actually lives there — and the best parts of travel rarely come with a receipt. So instead of paying for a tour, you offer something a local genuinely wants in return.

How it works

A local lists the days they're free to show someone around their city. A traveler finds them, picks a date, and offers something back — language practice, friendship, a cultural exchange, or simply covering the day's costs. When the guide confirms, the two connect and head out together. No money changes hands through Swap; the exchange is whatever the two people agree on.

What we believe

People over transactions

A shared day is worth more than a ticket. We're here to spark real connections, not sell experiences.

Fair exchange

Everyone brings something. A language, good company, a meal covered — value comes in many forms.

Local first

The people who know a city best are the ones who live there. Swap puts them at the center.

Who's behind it

Swap is built by TeqBooster, based in Doha, Qatar — a small team building useful digital platforms for the region and beyond.
